Edmonton Public Schools Archives and Museum traces Edmonton’s public schooling from its beginning in 1881 to the present. Housed at historic McKay Avenue School, we feature restored period classrooms, a recreated 1930 home setting that provides hands-on activities for students, and the original site of Alberta’s First Legislature.
