Jane Ross has long had a passion for history. After completing her M.A. in western Canadian history, she delved into a career that carried her from the Manitoba Museum to Alberta Culture and Tourism where she was, first, historian with Historic Sites and Museums, and then as Curator of Western Canadian History at the Royal Alberta Museum. In 2007, she launched a successful career as a heritage consultant. Heritage and travel go together, and she has worked at museums and historic sites overseas.
