Arts and heritage afficionado and voice of YEGuncovered.com. Photographer, with clients including the Edmonton Heritage Council. Walk leader with Jane's Walk (Riverdale), costumed historic interpreter at John Walter Museum, coordinator of Save Edmonton's Downtown Footbridge summer 2015 social media photo contest. Currently working with Quarters Arts to support the York:Moments heritage project. Student in Arts & Cultural Management at MacEwan University (subjects include project management, publicity/media relations, museum/gallery/performing arts programming, and advocacy); completing field placement at Fort Edmonton Park through summer 2015, focusing on interpretation program development. Winner of Edmonton Community Foundation's 2014 Community Scholarship, and MacEwan's Mark Joslin Memorial Award and Lynn duFort Award (both 2015). Trained in formal oral history collection methods. Interested in subjects including: Edmonton from the 1980s to present, north side Edmonton, the history of activism and politics in Edmonton, the arts, counterculture, oddities, and the North Saskatchewan River.
